We at Trendy Trading (Pty) Ltd believe that all types of corruption, unethical behaviour and dishonesty are damaging to every facet of society, whether personal, corporate or social. Dishonest and unethical behaviour is also very costly to a person’s, or company’s reputation.

The directors, officers, staff and shareholders of Trendy Trading (Pty) Ltd are committed to the highest degree of honesty and integrity in the conduct of their business affairs. We believe in obeying all laws and regulations as pertaining to the Companies Act as well as the rules and regulations that govern the sector in which we operate and the laws that govern society as a whole. We strive to be a good and model corporate citizen and to uphold the law. All our directors, officers and staff believe in the importance of conducting themselves in a lawful, honest and ethical manner.

Ethics

We require all our directors, management, shareholders and staff to conduct the operations of Trendy Trading (Pty) Ltd and its associated companies in a lawful and honest manner. It is the responsibility of all at Trendy Trading to comply with the rules and regulations that govern Trendy Trading. They are required to not knowingly become involved in dishonest and unethical behaviour or situations where a conflict of interest may arise.

Director, shareholder, management and staff may not accept or offer any

  • gifts
  • kickbacks
  • bribes
  • favours of a personal kind
  • illegal services
  • special privileges
  • money or payment

to influence or be influenced in the procurement process or the tendering of and for business contracts.

We believe in competing fairly and honestly and shun unethical methods of competition. We believe in doing all we can to honour our contractual obligations, whether it is to customers, partners or staff. All at Trendy Trading must ensure that their behaviour is not contrary to the best interest of the company.
