BEE Status

Trendy Trading is a black empowered company with a current BEE shareholding of 51%. It is a firm strategy of the company to put into place and implement policies that will encourage and develop the company’s BEE shareholding. It is the objective of the directors to create a truly sustainable and profitable BEE empowered company that will allow it to contribute to the economic transformation of all the stakeholders involved with Trendy Trading and the industry we operate in.

The company believes that Broad Based Black Economic Empowerment is a moral and business imperative and embraces the economic targets and codes as set out and envisioned in the BEE charter. To this end Trendy Trading has given one of its director’s the charge to drive the process of implementing the codes as set out in the charter. We are trying to put a process in place that will develop, evolve and grow as the company grows, thereby ensuring strategies that are attainable in the short, medium and long term.

Procurement

We will be implementing specific procurement strategies where and when we can, that identify BEE compliant contractors, suppliers, etc, and contract with them. In this way we can ensure that we advance BEE procurement in our company and industry.
